You should be here! We've got a Christian party candidate. Suppose he'll get a few...

As far as I can see itβs a case of βsteady as she goesβ. Just like the Titanic? Before it hit the iceberg Exactly. Have your life jacket ready.

I get the feeling that we are going to see the lowest percentage turnout ever seen in a general election. The risk in this is that the results will be decided by the raving fanatics who will vote at all costs.

I get the feeling that we are going to see the lowest percentage turnout ever seen in a general election. I've always believed the reason our voting forms don't include "None of the above" as an option is because "None of the above" would win by a landslide

Lovely people, think that if children die working in mines that's simply their own choice and not something government or society should be bothered with.

Ive just seen on the news that labour are going to sort out benefits and get people back working... tories are going to give 30 towns 20 million each to get the towns working properly after been left in a state after the previous government (14 years ago) and the libdems are going to make sure 10 premier league matches will be shown free on television... truly inspiring.

Yeah, it will probably be Wolves v Bournemouth or similar.

The most entertaining (for the avoidance of doubt, that's sarcasm) election campaigning that I've seen is the Tories generously offering to put right various public services which have fallen to pieces, due to the neglect of the past 14 years. Bloody hilarious. (For the avoidance of doubt, that's sarcasm, too).

Peterba quoted a Tory statement
" due to the neglect of the past 14 years"
And how long have they been in power?
