Principles? In a Labour politician? Did you mean to post in the joke thread? No. I posted in a thread about sensible debate about a serious upcoming election.
I disagree with Reeves. I disagree with Labour. I disagree with Abbot and above all I disagree with you. However Labour, Reeves and Abbot; all are taking part in a process of democracy as is their right. I even hope that Abbot wins her seat because she likely is the best person to represent the views of the people in her constituency. Can you even understand that sense of fair play, debate and democracy?

Apparently the Labour Party thinks the two things we, the population, worry about are Defence and The Economy. BBC R4 Today news.
No, we (I) worry about the Government's race for foreign money and share prices and their own bank accounts - and their lack of care about the people (us) they supposedly serve - apart, that is, for getting maximum tax revenue out of us.

Their focus groups will be telling them what "people" think.

Good to see the Tories trying to stoke up division and hatred to try and stop the people at the extreme right of their supporters voting for Reform candidates.

There many things in our politics about which to worry..... but the primary worry (for me) is that there might be even the slightest possibility of the Tories winning another term. They should be unceremoniously booted out. A good number of them deserve to be jailed for the various ways in which they have abused the country.

Clearly they meant the party who had been in power before them, going back almost 30 years...

Good to see the Tories trying to stoke up division and hatred to try and stop the people at the extreme right of their supporters voting for Reform candidates. It's possible that many people who say that they are going to vote for Reform do so to encourage the Conservatives to return to the centre right. The Reform vote may not happen. However that needn't worry you. The support for Reform and Conservatives between them is less than the support for Labour. BTW Even Reform is not extreme right. Yaxley-Lennon and his thugs are the extreme right.

Nigel's changed his mind again (but sadly it's still the same one), and Clacton will be the battleground. The BBC news and Guardian websites have a wonderful picture of him.
I do miss the days when the Monster Raving Loony Party filled this role in elections.

...And now that fookwit Farage has decided to stand as leader of the Reform party. My grandad would be spinning in his grave knowing the bastard Nazis he and those of his era were up against are here, with the same smug smiling face that reminds me of Goering.
edit...Beat me to it Chester.

The Nazi reference is perhaps unfair, although I have no problem with 'smug smiling'. Personally I would use 'demented' and 'easily believed by people who think we are still at war with the Nazis'. He has apparently chosen Clacton because it once (briefly) had UKIP MP, and also had a high 'leave' vote in the referendum. Perhaps enough of the 'leave' voters now realise that he (and his friends) misled them and will use their vote this time to politely tell him that his career is finally over. Like his friend Mr. Trump, the only way to finally stop him is to vote for somebody else.

Wasn't the evil shit reported to have been singing Nazi songs at one point?

Ironically Mrs. Farage and his spawn are German. My mother-in-law and my Great Grandfather were German, do you have a problem with that?
