I'm hoping that is sarcasm! Because he's too pissed to stand upright? Too many plane train crash interviews?

Because he's too pissed to stand upright? Too many plane train crash interviews? Donald Trump is far more important than we are...thank goodness for that.

The only point of interest is the news that nice Mr. Farage says he will not be standing. I'm hoping that is sarcasm! No, just despair after looking for any points of interest in the election 'news' and finding none. The use of 'will not be standing' was a choice of words that amused me, since it has more than one possible meaning for that gentleman.

I am never impressed by any politician who wants me to vote for him but all he can do is slag off the opposition. If he tells me what he stands for and his vision for the future, I can respect him, whatever the party.

I personally wouldn't vote for someone who lacks the intelligence to nip back indoors for a brolly or a coat.

I personally wouldn't vote for someone who lacks the intelligence to nip back indoors for a brolly or a coat.I agree. The trousers were already too short but now the whole suit is likely to end up in an Oxfam charity shop. Hopefully it helps some one, smaller than Sunak , at an interview get a job.

Well that's decided. My MP, who I rate very highly, is standing down. I might, probably would, have voted for him, but I won't be voting for his (Tory) replacement. I know loads of folk that share my opinion, so I reckon he may well have handed the seat to the Lib Dems.

I listened to an analysis on the radio this morning and although the issues of taxation, the NHS, Social Care, immigration and housing were quoted by those in pre-election polls, it actually was the personality in the end which got the vote from most of us. For myself, I'm not drawn to either Tory or Labour leaders, so I guess it will be party for me when I put my cross on the ballot paper.
