Unlike you two, my mind doesn't work like a greedy capitalist.  I don't get extra pay for bank hols so I'm just thinking from a socialist point of view of holidays for the masses. |

Holidays and entertainment for the masses brought down Ancient Rome! Iām not sure of your motives here but the fall of Rome was a mess. |

Actually, holidays and entertainment for the masses were brought in as a result of the pressures which were to bring down ancient Rome. They were an attempt to hold back the tide not the cause of the inundation. |

I am assuming Chris' place of work is not unionised or operates on the gig economy. It's a small company and we don't have a Union, nor do we operate on the gig economy. There are quire a few positive aspects to working there but when it comes to sick pay and time off, it can get a bit "interesting" |
