What a week I have coming - drop off laundry on Wednesday, local elections Thursday, shingles jab Friday and Chas getting coronated Saturday. Will I be able to take all this excitement?

I came across some archaeologists once who said they were looking specifically for lower leg bones.
That really was a shin dig!

I love the door bells on old European buildings, and plenty here in Italy. I saw this one today and thought of this thread. Camilla Diana by Nigel G, on Flickr

I think that might be the Daily Express branch office.

After Charles and Di were divorced, I was hoping for a refund of the tax that had been my personal contribution to the cost of the wedding.
More seriously, if Prince Phillip's funeral could be managed perfectly well under Covid lockdown guidelines, then the coronation could be too. Charles could say it is a response to the financial problems of many of his subjects, and so he does not want to appear profligate with their taxes. Even those who do not earn enough to pay income tax will be contributing by pay VAT on many of life's essentials. Also, the police have much better/more important things to do.

It is 9am here in France, we are just about to start our drive. My wife is sat in the back of the van and has just started watching the coronation coverage on Sky News. Wall to wall crap of the build up. Myself and daughter have ridiculed and bullied her to the extent she has turned it off. Lol.
Iâm sure itâll be back on in a bit though. Luckily it is on her phone with headphones so we wonât hear it. We normally have LBC on when travelling. Not today though.

I know it's a big deal, he only has the jab once a month. ..Oh, sorry! thought we were talking about my dog going for his Librela injection. Something else on, is there? Nothing spectacular 'til Tuesday AFAIK, which is when we go to Bournemouth to see Joe Bonamassa I have no problems with the coronation, just the whole build up starting at stupid oclock in the morning, interviewing muppets who started camping 3 weeks ago and asking what they are looking forward to. 'The Coronation, dickhead!' would be a reply worth listening to!

Got around an 8 hour drive today (inc rest breaks) then tunnel in the morning. Just stopped for café, croissant and a wee.
