Can't really dignify it as dinner, just a can of broccoli and stilton soup with a granary bap.
Will have something a bit more substantial later.

Picked up a rotisserie chicken reduced to £2.50 in Morrisons. Brought it home, carved it up, smothered the result in gravy that had been in the freezer leftover from Christmas and served with boiled potatoes, green beans, carrots/onions and cauliflower cheese. Also from the freezer leftover from Christmas. I"m going to have to do a proper shop soon though!

Lazy man's special, pork mince, sliced onion, grated carrot, sage, black pepper all bunged in the slow cooker with water and some gravy granules for a few hours served with mashed spud, should do me for 3 days; followed by some Tesco Raspberry trifle.

Chunky fish fingers and chips, with steamed broccoli and carrot as a nod to "healthy eating".

Ignoring my silly colleague. Aberdeen Angus burgers and oven fries. Finished some red wine too.

I made a beef casserole yesterday in the slow cooker for 8 hours. It had port, chestnuts and shallot onions. We have just less than half left, so as an experiment I am doing it on low for around 5 hours again, breaking the meat down into shreds, added another stock cube and as an experiment I want to be like a beef ragu and we'll have it with pasta. Sarah wants to add a tin of toms (none in the original stew) but I think it'll be wrong with the port and chestnuts.

The forum broke after I typed my reply. I didn't expect one reply to be here, let alone 2 of them!
