Salisbury has that rarest of beasts, an independent camera shop! Castle Cameras sits in the middle of Endless Street (I'll explain that on the day) about 100 metres from the guildhall. If you look on their website and see an item that pique's your interest, but is at the Bournemouth branch give them a call and they will transfer it to Salisbury with sufficient notice. They are an excellent camera shop. I've bought a few secondhand items from them, very good service and nice friendly people as well

Just curious... did you deliberately choose a w3w that would make me smirk? The next square along is slowly.bucket.spider

Salisbury is pretty photogenic itself, plus it has some good local shops and pubs.

Had most of my stag do there nearly 35 years ago... it's a proper pub (still, I have been in since and quite recently!), but I wouldn't go that far. Tell you where I haven't been in in years and used to quite like, the Haunch of Venison.

I'm just hoping any cobbles are stuck down properly.

Does that spire on the cathedral lean when they climb to change the light bulb? I suggest you all give it a wide berth.

I'm just hoping any cobbles are stuck down properly. Is it an area of Variable Gravity? Do the cobbles suddenly start to lift if they haven't been fastened down? I'd be very tempted to get some glue remover to pour into the cracks to watch this
