On which note I'm convinced that Fujifilm and Kodak are optimised for their 'home' market's light and colour palette. That's why here we just have Ilford black and white. Um, thinking of Ilford Phoenix, I wonder what light they get in Cheshire. Well, Harman technically, albeit the same company. Even they admit the film isn't quite there yet, it's got plenty of funky colours and terrible shadows. Best results I've seen were from hols in the med, rated at 100, and home scanned.

Um, thinking of Ilford Phoenix, I wonder what light they get in Cheshire. We could ask Nige...he lives there and used to roll the films for Ilford I used to work in the labs that tested B&W films. That suited the Cheshire weather and no need for colour.
