Martin, I really don't want to be rude to you but you are clearly failing to understand , or you are deliberately misinterpreting, my posts. You chose to bold a sentence above. Why didn't you choose to highilght the sentence that followed and expressed sympathy for those being attacked by the IDF and which counterbalanced the sentence you highlighted. Why didn't you bold the "wicked and OTT reaction from Israel". I have never supported the right to a Jewish homeland at the expense of others. If you think that I wrote that then I suspect that you are seeing what you want to see and not actually understanding.
It's true that, in these days of fake news, I have a healthy scepticism about 'facts' that are quoted without attribution and without source. I like to know where things emanate, and I often ask for a source.

BTW re LBC I googled LBC to see if O'Brien (I criticized him, although I often agree with him) was still one of their presenters. I saw loads of stuff about Gaza but didn't read it. I mentioned it so that anyone following my tracks would be warned that LBC was embroiled in a controversy.

IMO - anyone who supports Israel as the jewish homeland does so at the expense of others. Jewish Israelis have been stealing palestinians property for decades while the Israeli state (at best) colludes. I have no idea where the devil this is coming from. I have reviwed my posts and canot find one that even seems to come close to supporting a Jewish homeland. I have reviwed my posts and, as far as i can see, have been even handed between Gazans and Israel. I have criticised both equally.
Either I've lost the ability to write plain English or there's some blind prejudice being exposed.
Someone, anyone, please explain.

Ok - apologies. I admit that I was not 100% clear on the meaning of Zionist. I should have typed Israeli.

Israel has sought to remove Palestinians by violent means since its arrival in the 40s. Hamas has existed for less than half that time, IN DIRECT RESPONSE TO ISRAELI ACTIONS.
Criticising both sides is a position with no moral authority whatsoever.

However, your accusation came before my response, in which I (mistakenly) said that I did have such sympathies. I would add that I contend that my meaning in the context was very clear, I was sympathizing with a group under threat - not making a statement about a Jewish homeland.
