Boycotted. But I've been doing that for about ten years now... Only 10 years? Noob! To be fair I do actually mean boycotting, not just avoiding.

I last watched it the year that Sandy Shaw won it. My excuse is that I was much younger, at home alone, knew no better and had no discernment, and there was nothing better (!) to watch. Even then I don't believe I managed to watch it all, and have probably been damaged for life by what I did watch. Programmes like this should come with a health warning, or an annoying voice over at the end 'if you have been affected by events like this...".
I hate to think how many Radio 3 'lunchtime concerts' could have been recorded for a similar expenditure by the BBC (a programme recently abandoned, presumably due to cost).

What does Euro vision down market 'entertainment' have to do with the members of a very discerning group of photographers? Am I a pseudo intellectual snob? If so, then I am not ashamed to be so.

Why the feck does a radio station that costs over £50 million to run and attracts just 1.7 million listeners be deemed more important than a TV show that costs the BBC just £16 million and attracts 7.4 million viewers (not counting the listeners Radio 2)?

Wear you 'pseudo intellectual' title as a badge of honour, without shame. We are small, but discerning, group of people.

R3 broadcasts 24x7x 365 hours per year except in leap years when you get a 24 hour bonus. The annual embarrassment of ... You get the picture. Does your £50M include the Proms and the BBC orchestras and BBC singers? Pretty good value I would think.

But I don't, and never have listened to, Radio 3, so applying pseudo intellectual logic it's a waste of money. Then again I've never suggested scrapping Radio 3, like you pseudos want to do to stuff that you don't watch or listen to.

Oh and the Proms has dedicated funding from the licence fee, and makes a loss every year. Fantastic value.

Sometimes I feel that I am not worthy.
Imagine what a dreadful world it would be if the broadcasters/musicians catered only for the tastes of one.

Shhh. Don't let them know. I could be burned at the stake.
Is that because it was a phone (shock, horror) or because my camera stored things on a card rather than plates?
