I spend a lot of time on YouTube and for some time now have followed the journey of the electric Morris JE van morris-commercial.com/morris-je/ Does anyone else like this concept van. I hope they will soon be available and I look forward to seeing them on the road.

Good luck to them. I expect I'd find one far less objectionable to drive than a diesel van with a manual gearbox.
Doesn't sound like they'll have much trouble giving Nissan a run for their money with electric vans if the price is right. Safety seems to be less of a concern with those anyway.

Looks like the sort of thing VW T5 tossers would have.

Reviewing last weeks phone snaps today and I notice that by coincidence I took this about a hour before don started this thread. Horniman Gardens IMG_8687editV2 by Keith Hudson, on Flickr One of the original Morris vans, now converted to ice cream sales in the Horniman Gardens. SE London.

If it truly has the range mentioned in the video then I hope they do well. I've experienced 'Range Anxiety' with our fleet of electric cars at work. Driving from Helensburgh to our Campbeltown campus (115 miles) in a car with a range of 120 miles is not fun.

Every so often I wonder if I'm getting old, but my continued non-interest in VW vans reassures me that I've still got a few years of 'youth' remaining. There's a definite "midlife crisis" vibe around most of these vans I see around.
