Anyone want to try Welsh names?
I certainly don't, Steve.
However, I'm intrigued to know how pronounce the place that Kath mentioned above i.e. Rhosneigr.

I hope you never take a job with your local Tourist Information Centre, John. The names come from poetic descriptions, or legends about gods and ancestors. Which category does dog shit come into? Asking for me.

I'd didn't think that you'd invented them! It just occurred to me that your... <ahem>... presentation might need a little work.

Welsh is pretty simple phonetically, as far as I am aware it's Roz-nigh-ger, though not sure where, if anywhere, the stress might be. I await correction.

Thanks, Adrian. I think you're probably right.
Having said that, I hope you won't be offended if I wait for steveandthedogs to 'adjudicate'.

Pretty good, but the Z is S, the O is long, the Rh is rolled and has the H in it and the Ger is Grr. The stress is always on the penultimate syllable.
Hope that makes sense.
