I think he's in the Pacific Northwest. Bingo. Got socked in for a while, but has now melted. Did not upset holiday plans greatly, which I rather appreciated.

Oregon, iirc. Looked pretty sunny in the latest episode of Car Trek....that might have been the magic of television though. If you watched closely, you may have noticed it was filmed in August There is at least one followup video on the Maserati, which has been restored to almost showroom condition, and it was surprisingly unscathed underneath. I was very impressed tbh

Funny when a Maserati keeps having to rescue a Range Rover

Indeed..... I once had the interesting job of working on one of those 6-wheeled Range Rover Carmichael things. It was a fire tender for IIRC an RAF airport and was suffering from overheating issues.....

I’m hating every second of it It’s pretty much rained since I finished work last Friday and the forecast is for it to continue until I go back on 3rd Jan Should have guessed, last Christmas I used my holiday to extend the break for 18days. It rained every single day…Every Day!! I would love a cool dry frosty winter, instead it’s just damp and miserable. Tell me again why the migrants are flocking over…. Must be our warm welcome party!!

The only consolation is that I won't be around to see it - I have just read an article that states that the Eastern Med, centered on Cyprus, is going to beyond habitable by the end of the century. Apparently, it is currently the fastest warming part of the globe and even as close as 2050 it my be uninhabitable.

Given that the Meteorological office have difficulty predicting the weather 12 hours ahead, I’d wait and see.

That's my plan - I'll give it another seventy years or so, and if it's getting too warm, then I'll leave.

We're having amazing sunsets here, courtesy of the Tongan volcanic eruption last year. After the sun goes down, the western sky glows an orange yellow, fading through pale lilac to the blue of the sky above.
