It got warm enough to snow and we have a wee blizzard now. Surprised you don't have more we have a good covering.

There's plenty of rain in the forecast, but we've had hardly any. However, the predicted wind is definitely here.

It's quite mild here, took some stuff to the bin and was pleasantly surprised how warm the rain was

Much milder and sunny, but still windy as F! Washing out on the line and dry within half an hour.

It has been tipping down here since Friday pm. Almost two whole days of non-stop rain. Blowing a hooley throughout the same period, too.
Really tedious.

Horizontal rain here. The rain gauge is only reading 4.8 mm, but I think that's because most of the rain is missing it.

I think the rain is coming through in bursts because it's obviously rained quite a bit, but I've not actually seen it do so for more than a few minutes at a time. Its also intermittent very gusty indeed, and they really swirl round the garden. Two of the empty bins and the food waste caddy are currently laid in the passage between the house and the shed where they always seem to end up if its windy. I'm impressed by the food waste caddy as it had a concrete slab on the lid to stop the wildlife dragging it round the garden.

I reckon the rain which has been missing your rain gauge has been hitting us instead, Dave!

Evidence of the wind is a load of small branches all over the lawn from two sycamores about 15-20 yards away. Evidence of trhe rain is a full bird bath, with more still falling.

The rain has got here. We decided not to hit the pub for the rugby as it was so manky (horizontal rain), at which point Scotland promptly marmalised Australia. Ah well... I've been sorting Christmas cards instead, apart from a few with letters that need writing I've got most done. A good job to get sorted early!
