Having just finished our August theme of colour, I have decided that September, with the onset of Autumn and darker days, that a mono theme will ease us into those darker days gently.
I was tempted to choose an Autumnal theme, but I resisted.
What I'd like to see is a mono image appropriate to the subject of the image.
It can be the natural colour of the subject, or b&w or with an overlay of colour as you wish.
Have fun!

This tree caught my eye today so I thought I'd try a mono conversion DSCF5352.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

I think this is the only one of my B&W negatives that I have so far scanned. I know I made the mistake of leaving digital ICE on because it was a first time and I'd been doing colour negative. The ICE painstakingly removed every pixel brighter than about 40 out of 256 and took ages to do. It was pouring with rain, I think this was HP5 pushed possibly to 3200 - but probably not that much. Camera was a Konica FS-1 with a Hexonon 80-200 F2.8 two touch zoom which was my pride and joy. Sometime before 1988 because we got burgled about then and all the camera gear nicked. First and only time I have been to a rally stage. I feel sure I posted this on APForum at some point. My wet print of this was awful! img20201103_16292190_1 by Pete, on Flickr edit: D reg was August 1st 1986 to 31st July 1987
