Another stumbled across photo. Must have processed this for an APForum mono theme in 2021. The subject is black and white anyway, although the plant pots contain red geraniums.  IMG_0023.jpg by Pete, on Flickr I used to think this was a good lens test picture as viewed close up the pegs in the wooden frame are discernible. I have a 9x9" print from my 6x6 SLR as a benchmark. A 6x 9" print from my Canon 50E with budget EF lens didn't get close but I was staggered at how much detail the 5D with 24-105 L did show. Since then I've always avoided cheap lenses. This from April 2007, one of my first "digital" pictures. |
