You'll never convince me that there's a better camera on the planet - or indeed on the moon - than a Rolleiflex. Supremely engineered, magnificent lenses, just marvellous. That one looks lovely, Pete, and great story to go with it. The one thing I regret about mine is that I don't know any of the stories behind any of them - who used them, what they photographed, and so on.

I was sure I'd already shared this but it seems not in this thread. One of my monorails, with a 150mm f/1.2: A challenging lens by Mike Kanssen, on Flickr

(It was the Large Format thread I started that you posted it, so not loosing your marbles)

It's been posted on several other forums too, but even so I've not seen my marbles for years! I have at least finally got round to putting direct positive paper in my double dark slide. At the rate I'm going even if I get the exposure right straight away (without a shutter) it will likely be at least a month before my first soft focus effort is available to scan...

Have you tried the British Museum? I seem to recall they collect them...

Murky light again today so these were shot at silly ISOs (but looked nice in my high contrast mono preset - I shoot raw +jpg with the jpg set to mono). Anyhoo, here's the noisy colour shots. View AttachmentView AttachmentView AttachmentVery nice, Zou. For me, the K2 is the favourite. But then..... I have been known to own a Pentax or two. Attachment Deleted

Well, it's all downhill from here. How do you top a fine pair of Pentax? Couple of Contax? Lots of Leica?

This is about as close as I get to a Leica.
