Cool, a beautiful cat portrait. If I can find them I also have similar ones where he looks like an owl and a slug.

230716-veiled-diy-dropcloth by Kath Polley, on Flickr My shooting bench, which is also where I store my smaller vinyl backdrops to lay out flat, doubles up as a DIY station. You might say it is smothered rather than veiled but you can still see a bit of it...the wheel, bottom right ;-). It was less smothered and more veiled before with just one sheet as a dropcloth but then I discovered splodges of paint had soaked through onto one of my backdrops, hence the more robust 'veiling' for the next diy project.

Veiled by the leaves of an intervening (and very o.o.f.) thistle. By the time I had realised and adjusted my position it was gone. DSCF4897.jpg by Pete, on Flickr a harder crop of the next exposure. I think the dragonfly is a female ruddy darter. DSCF4898.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

About as close as I can get. Nothing key-worded as such and I tend to take garden rather than flower pictures. From May this year. I'm not certain that much is in bud just now in July but I'll keep my eyes open if we go out (rain forecast). 274A1657.jpg by Pete, on Flickr
