Coincidentally, just got on the tram to head into town, started looking at the news, put my earbuds in and got Amazon to play random music based on my lgenerally listened to genre and the first track it played was Heaven 17, (We Don’t Need This) Fascist Groove Thang.
First few lines of the song are quite apt for now.

The steady beep beep of someone’s breathing monitor! Every now and then it stops and I wonder why it takes them longer than usual.

The steady beep beep of someone’s breathing monitor! Every now and then it stops and I wonder why it takes them longer than usual. That's how my heart and breathing work...steady-ish followed by a dramatic pause (for effect of course, I am an attention seeker after all ) As I'm not wired to monitors there's no beeps...

Kaki King. American guitarist uses some unusual techniques. David Grohl is a fan.

I gave REM a listen recently whilst driving, I haven't played them for a few years. Finest Worksong from the album Document has got such a big fat groove, it put a huge smile on my face driving on the M25!

Sat out in the sun listening to some Echo and the Bunnymen. I have been considering going to see them live, but having seen videos on Youtube, he sounds dreadful, so won't bother. I don't remember them being that bad when I saw them in the 80's. I saw Ian Mccolloch a few years back, he was a bit nasty and spiteful to the crowd, it totally put me off him and I can't listen to the bunnymen after that. Such a shame, in my youth I looked up to him and loved the band.
