Sat out in the sun listening to some Echo and the Bunnymen. I have been considering going to see them live, but having seen videos on Youtube, he sounds dreadful, so won't bother. I don't remember them being that bad when I saw them in the 80's.

Six keyboard concertos from the 1740s by John Stanley 3 for organ and 3 for harpsichord; I've never heard any of them on the radio. Most organists will be familiar with Stanley's organ voluntaries, few will have heard these or other concertos nor his Flute sonatas or other works.

Some Numan this afternoon. Just had Telekon on.
Now got the album Dance on. Great album with musicians such as Roger Taylor from Queen drumming, Mick Karn and Rob Dean from Japan.

Nick Cave and Warren Ellis, Australian Carnage, live at the Sydney Opera House.
Looking forward to seeing him play in November. My wife thinks he is so depressing (she's not wrong) and didn't want to go, so I bought a ticket for myself. She has subsequently listened to this album and now decides she wants to go. Surprisingly, the seat next to mine was still there, so I now have company!
He at least thinks this one is joyful

I came across this artist, or more accurately, this song, a few weeks ago. I heard it in a film or TV series. I can't quite remember which it was.
Anyway, a lovely version. His other music is quite pleasant too.
