Morning

The only picture keyworded "morning" on my Flickr is this one. The Exif reports a time of 8 in the morning [EDIT: No - 11:42 which is more credible but still morning. I knew I'd never be up at that time of day].  which is earlier than I can possibly  imagine for me taking a photo.  Plus, I have no recollection of taking it or being  there.  I'll look on the computer later to see if there are any clues in Lightroom. [EDIT photo from DPP days - not processed in LR - the 08:00 was the time of conversion to jpg in DPP]

After a long dark winter, I yearn for the sun. I watch how the sun creeps into my rooms and capture it when it does.

A bit too late for sunrise, but this was 7 am this morning. The view from a front bedroom window as I was passing, the sun was beaming in from the bedroom onto the landing.

I generally don't do staying in bed especially when on holiday, when we used to go away with two small children I would often spend a hour or two wandering around with the camera before anyone else was awake.

Often I would walk to the next village and back not seeing another person.

My photography is often at lunchtime or evenings, and the weekend stuff is usually after I've got somewhere (afternoon).
Even when it was taken in the morning there's typically nothing to indicate this. I do have some nice sunrises but they're not to hand - so the best I can manage is the view from my bedroom window at 3.15am lit entirely by a lightning strike:
