While looking for the passport photo I took of Rusty, I came across a shot of unknown origin entitled 'Pure bread Dogs' that I grabbed from a joke thread on another forum (probably copied from Facebook). It seems quite appropriate here   |

It has to be the same aircraft there are not many full size WW1 replica planes, my photograph was taken at Wings and Wheels, Dunsfold in 2014.
IIRC one of them was flown by Bruce Dickinson during the display but I can't remember which was his.

Very likely the same triplane, but there were at least half a dozen WW1 replicas flying (at the same time) in the display I shot. I gather the great war display team in total includes 5 of the SE5a aircraft. clactonairshow.com/great-war-display-team/I do hope Clacton have the great war display back soon - probably my favourite display to date. Pretty much just Red arrows & BBMF announced so far for this year... |
