Paella with two soluble asprin for afters. Saving the cocodamol for a nightcap. Sore shoulders and felling generally a bit off from the jabs. After jabs for me it's two paracetamol and off to bed for a couple of hours. Usually keeps the nastiness away

Only slight side effect from my jabs was a slight ache in the arm from Covid. The flu gave me no side effects at all.

The COVID booster gave me a lump and and sore shoulder, then knocked me flat for a day. Flu, no side effects at all.

Thanks everyone for the comments about the jabs . My local chemist does covid and flu jabs on a walk in basis and I really should get them done . I've had the covid ones, first time the only reaction was the site felt tender if I pressed down on it for a day or so, no reaction to the second and the third I felt like I was getting a cold but 2 days later I did so it was coincidental.
But I have heard so many horror stories about the flu one I have been putting it off. I will see how tomorrow pans out job wise and if nothing is happening I'll bite the bullet and get it done
Dinner was a veggie leftover thing, I did creamed leeks, a couple of portobello mushrooms topped with cheese and a couple of red peppers stuffed with veggie rice
Followed with a pot of creme caramel

FWIW, Lesley, SWMBO had her flu jab yesterday, and just has a bit of a sore arm today.

I had both Covid and flu jabs on the same day. I was OK until the next day when I felt quite tired and under the weather. Likewise for my wife who had both jabs together a couple of weeks earlier. She spent most of the following day in bed.

My cough has further developed today so I think half my symptoms yesterday were cold symptoms.

Amphibian in the aperture. Bloody delicious it was, too.

Made a broth type soup on Saturday and tonight was the final serving. By now most of the liquid was gone so more like a veg and grains stew, served with sausages, oven chips, and salad.

A couple of soss in a bap. Added some sliced raw onion and HP sauce. Made it a bit slippery.

The chickpea curry again with brown rice.
A smitten apple to follow. And as I am watching Masterchef and they were making tiramisu, I’ve had a glass of Kahlua with ice as we don’t have a tiramisu in!

Lazy man's cottage pie, tin of minced bef & onion with an added OXO for a bit of extra flavour, some thawed out frozen mashed spud applied to top of mince in a pyrex bowl, microwaved. Followed by jam rolypoly with custard. Enough of the cotage pie left for tomorrow
