Just a beef stew and dumplings ready meal surprisingly generous on the beef front and the dumplings were nice and followed with a pot of yoghurt and a satsuma
Fancied Thai but the prices were ridiculous apparently there's a Thai takeaway round the corner from me but couldn't find it. There's a load of food places around the back of the magistrates court in the railway arches I suspect it must be there somewhere but pretty much all the places round there are obviously geared up for the home delivery market and when I checked their menu online there was no duck pad Thai and since I have a feeling I will be meeting some friends Friday and we may end up in the Rusty Bike who do amazing Thai food I can wait

Fish fingers with garlic rice and peas worked very well and as it was a big pack of microwaveable rice I still have half the pack left for tomorrow

Made pork turnovers with minced pork, apple and veg and dijon mustard and a little honey. Tasty. Worked well.
Now to think what to do with the left over filling.

Pork and green pepper in cider with szechuan pepper and ginger, noodles and... sprouts, cos that's what was to hand.
Tonight will be slow cooker Cawl Cenin, for Dewi Sant.

Nowt fancy, just sliced ham, jacket spud (well laced with butter) and chutney followed by Kelly's honeycomb crunch ice cream (which they claim also contains Cornish clotted cream - I get through 3 or 4 tubs per month)

Chucked the rest of Monday's garlic rice in the frying pan with some chopped up boneless chicken thighs. sweet corn, mushrooms and some chopped leek I needed to use up plus garlic puree and lots of coarse ground black pepper then topped it with hoi sin sauce it was very nice and I didn't need anything else afterwards
