Shuffle - and the difficulty of switching it of if you have accidentkly switched it on (quite apart from Amazon music [not unlimited]). I am not a naturally vindictive person but... if I had access to mains power, electrodes and the testes of whoever (Yes - no one really thinks a woman would come up with something so crap) invented it then I would happily get in touch with my inner psychopath. Accidently switched it on on the software which controls my music server. Took over an hour...

I think Angela Rayner's comment probably covered it.....

I was saying the other day that there could well be a perception that he was out of touch due to his extreme wealth. That's clearly no longer a perception. Frankly, it's unacceptable to have a PM so utterly divorced from reality. How can he possibly make decisions for the good of the country if he simply doesn't understand something so basic? This is beyond satire.

Frankly, it's unacceptable to have a PM so utterly divorced from reality. How can he possibly make decisions for the good of the country if he simply doesn't understand something so basic? This is beyond satire. One has to wonder how "in touch" most of our longer serving politicians can claim to be. An MPs salary is well above average and then there are generous expenses to cover travelling or a second home close to Westminster and an office. An ordinary constituency MP is busy the PM has to do the same job but also all the duties of being PM.
Personally, I think, from what they say, many MPs are out of touch. I might say the same about many on here but the truth is that your "reality" is different from mine. What I see as an issue worthy of attention others don't, what they see as an urgent need I may see as something to be endured, we all see things differently.
Being offended when the person in question wasn't, apparently, suggests a degree of bias.

The traffic today. I averaged 20mph between Newbury and Cherwell Valley services on the M40 today.

Missed that. What did she say? S She described it as "excruciating" - which I thought summed it up rather admirably. (it was on the link that you provided! )

This certainly is worthy of grinding, I hope, everyone's gears. This woman in Birmingham is literally being arrested for an Orwellian thought crime. Standing on a sidewalk, praying in silence. No signs. No interfering with other people. No obstructing. No loud protestations. Nothing but stationary silence. Arrested. Is this truly England?

I haven't watched the video, but I make a point of not believing, or reacting to a situation like this unless I have researched the circumstances. Very wise! She was actually arrested for being in violation of a public space protection order. To quote an article in the Express from three days ago:- A pro-life woman who stood outside an abortion clinic in Kings Norton, Birmingham, in violation of a public space protection order, has found herself in the middle of a furious row after her case was picked up by a conservative outlet in the US. Misinformation about why Isabel Vaughan Spruce, 45, was arrested spread around social media after Mary Margaret Olohan, a senior reporter for the US publication The Daily Signal, shared the video of the arrest and falsely claimed it was for “silent praying”. Twitter was forced to attach a corrective statement to Ms Olohan’s post after it went viral. The original article:- www.express.co.uk/news/uk/1713603/anti-abortion-arrest-silently-praying-twitter-fact-check-Row-false-informationThis seems a good time to append my signature from the old AP site.

By the end of the day I may be looking for a new job. One of my colleagues has weedled his family into jobs on the farm. I had to give one of them a bollocking this morning resulting in dad kicking off. They have history of creating toxic workplaces before. I've informed my bosses I'm not going to tolerate it and I'll hand my notice in today if they don't resolve it. Should be an interesting meeting later this morning.

Hopefully the boss backs up the senior employee and the troublemakers are still on temporary contracts that can easily be terminated.
