I shouldn't laugh but...friend of mine has Parkinson's and apparently when he takes his medication it causes a reaction that means he can't move for a hour or so
His physiotherapist had called to let him know she would have to cancel so he decided to go for a lie down in the heat so he was lying on his bed when there was a knock at his bedroom door, his physiotherapist had managed to make the appointment after all and without thinking he called out "You can't come in I'm in my birthday suit and my medication makes me stiff for an hour"
And then realized what he had said
Best laugh all day when he told me!

The term "great week" clearly has different connotations depending on one's perspective. If one were a right wing politician it's not been a great week to be crooked. If one is somewhat further left, or not crooked, it has probably been great to see. Whether it will deter other crooked politicians, unfortunately they exist across the political spectrum, remains to be seen. Been more right wingers shown up as total crooks lately. Please do not try to suggest putin or Kim NK dictator are not right wing. All right then, I won’t. The are just out and out thugs dressed as affable thugs. Right wing, Left wing, who knows, they appear to be “me” wing. |

Bigsby Polyphonic pitch shifter.
Even I I were never to use this I would still want one - guitarists will understand - but at 313 Euros (yes I did have to check) aint happening any time soon.

I can see the appeal, Willie, but it was string bending and tremolo arm in my day.  If I still played that type of music (i.e. 60s/70s rock), I'd probably still use those techniques, but I'm so staid these days,  that none of the stuff I play actually requires those techniques.  |

Rare occurrence.  samoyed dogs mhairi took picture by Kate Ferris, on Flickr One for andy On another level entirely, I took apart my Gtech vacuum cleaner and cleaned/washed the filters. Oh my! That was somewhat overdue. They were mingin! Now hoping the sponge inserts dry outside. |
