They look well behaved and well groomed. It's almost impossible to walk past girls with a Samoyed as they usually want to pet them...probably a better chick magnet than a labrador puppy! I guess you'd know which breeds are better chick magnets than others personally I would be a pushover for a guy with an Irish setter |

One of the saddest things I ever saw was in a pub. All over the place there were signs asking people not to give the dog any crisps etc because the vet said he had a heart condition that wasn't being helped by being overweight
And there was this decidedly chubby Labrador going from table to table obviously expecting crisps etc from his friends and none of them were giving him any
He looked so depressed

Mrs S reckoned that I was no fun after my first heart attack- I went down the Abstinence is good for you route. Since my cardiac she reckons I've gone too far the other way. I suggested they should leave them like that as folk that can't fit through the gap don't need anything from that aisle. Not that I need anything from that aisle either. * it's company policy not to use the term staff as some folk think it has nazi connotations. |

I have finally discovered how to remove the cooked on emulsion of oil and steam that coats deep fat fryers and air fryers. Isopropyl alcohol dissolves it very nicely, just remove any large accumulations mechanically before finishing up with isopropyl. Wash thoroughly before use.

Yep, isopropyl alcohol is pretty good. I make up a mixture of isopropanol and water (About 85%) with a dash of Ilfotec wetting agent for cleaning my windscreen.
