They've got my atheist science teacher daughter teaching RE in her international school in (predominantly atheist) Korea. Provided it does not cause problems then I suggest this book as a textbook. She's there to educate, not evangelise. |

Bought some this morning! Picked some this evening! 20 odd years ago, I had to go to Germany quite a few times for a week at a time for work. We stayed in Heidelberg, which is a lovely place, but also the centre of a lot of asparagus production. Around harvest time, it's hard to get a meal without the stuff. Which is nice, really enjoyed that. |

I am always stunned, amazed and shocked by how quickly asparagus causes that distinctive smell.

I have been suffering with severe pains in my upper right arm. Bad enough to wake me and keep me awake more or less every night. I overcame my "manfear" and consulted my GP who gave me some anti-inflammatory pills.
Oh joy I slept through last night and the pills seems to be working.
