I've just put a shelf up in the outside bog. Used the leftover worksurface from the new kitchen, resting on three battens, so if we ever need it as a khazi (two occasions in nine years thus far) it can just be lifted out. Hopefully it will make life much tidier as the extra space gives the opportunity to see where stuff is, avoid rummaging and be able to put it back! The shelf is also large enough to hold a photographic enlarger... quite by coincidence! That there is also running water and drainage is obviously incidental Indeed! Not sure how to make it all work yet, I may have to dev-stop-fix in the blacked out back passage, then wash in the kitchen (back passage is between bog and kitchen). No hurry!

[four Yorkshiremen] Call that an outside dunny? A proper outside dunny wouldn't need a shelf, just the hole plugging [/four Yorkshiremen]
