For the first time in *ages* I've made cheese scones. Should be done in about 10 minutes, and then hopefully we'll have enough restraint to not eat the whole batch in one go! 😅

Not perfect, but definitely tasty.

I'm busy today appraising recruiters of my new instant availability. Most haven't replied (yet, for some, at all for others, I suspect) but I've had an interesting discussion with one of them. It turns out he, too, has been dicked about by the company that dicked me about.
If that's the level of twattery going on there, I'll be very happy to avoid them.

Broadband with my old 70mbs Vodafone contract used to come in at around £32 per month. With the new 1509mbs contract and having got used to not making outgoing calls on the landline (on which the phones have become unreliable anyway) the bills are now reliably £26 per month.

Our herd, more specifically my bosses son, has been shortlisted for the Holstein breed society president's cup. Quite an achievement to make the last four in the competition. Added to that we had 18 cows classify as excellent, including 2 EX94, and 10 heifers classify as VG85 (the highest they can score at that age).
