Bert [Jansch] Transcribed 2 is now available on Amazon. Vol. 2 of Transcriptions of the music and songs of Bert Jansch. If you know any acoustic guitarists please let them know. Just checked Amazon idly while sitting with an ice gel pack wrapped round my ****** knuckle after happilly wrestling with Chambertin and Alice's Restaurant on volume 1. While I lost I could not in all honestly declare that the music won. Possibly I should re-define my music ego as mandolin player - I am actually getting better at that. It is nice not to be an old dog.  When I was viewing this on my phone (narrow screen), only the first line of your post was visible at the bottom of the page, so all I could see was:- "Just checked Amazon idly while sitting with an ice gel pack wrapped round my ******". |

Seeing Chris Hoy at the velodrome in Paris Phenomenal athlete but he stayed in my hotel once and his wife was a right PITA playing the "my husband is an Olympian" card well past its expiry date. That's rather put me off him, as I cannot imagine he was unaware. |

That's rather put me off him, as I cannot imagine he was unaware. He was a tit when he came for a fitting of his skin suit at my son's place of work. He knew better than the team of world renowned aerodynamicists apparently. |

The last few months I've been doing some retail therapy and adding to my cordless power tool collection. Last week I bought, totally unnecessarily, a nail gun. Oh what fun! It's only a little 18 gauge brad gun. Today I had to make a fence extension for the bandsaw in order to cut some 60 degree mitres and it was a doddle to pin a couple of bits of mdf either side of some battens.
