From a personal perspective, I wouldn’t worry if UK teams were knocked out if it meant that there was no reporting on the rest of the tournament. Unfortunately reporting will continue irrespective of the status of UK teams so winning, and the associated celebration, is better than losing. They're still reporting that one time England won something before, nearly 70 years ago. Be careful what you wish for! I seem to remember something about winning some competition when I was at school, under 60 years ago but the last win, with a proper shaped ball, was in 2003.

The last time England won a major football tournament was 2022. If by "proper shaped ball" you mean Rugby Union, then it was 2014, not counting the 6-Nations.

The last time England won a major football tournament was 2022. But that was the women, and they thoroughly deserved it.

Every now and again while strolling around the Mill Pond I'll come across one of these stuffed toys placed in a tree. There's been tigers, bears, rabbits, all sorts of cute animals. No idea who puts them there. Maybe made by one of the local lady's who enjoys making them and leaving them for the kids to find DS2_5011-01 by Stephen Hayto, on Flickr

Just sat watching the news, looked out the window and saw the local bat fluttering by. Not seen it for a few weeks- but then it's been cool and damp...

I have previously castigated Curry's for their in store performance - truly awful.
However my freezer died (after >30 years!). I knew what I wanted and Currys were the only ones who could deliver quickly.
Their online service is excellent. They price matched, delivered within 12 hours and the delivery men were great.
Plaudits for once.

Are you trying to suggest your wealth (full tank) or that it is warmish?

My "repaired" P30t counts to 36, the same as me, the same as it's meant to... (Just ran a 36 exposure film through it...)
