"Nellie the elephant" is one of the rhythms that the Red Cross use to time CPR, the other is "Stayin' Alive".

"Nellie the elephant" is one of the rhythms that the Red Cross use to time CPR, the other is "Stayin' Alive". Apparently my CPR saviour used "don't die on me, buy me a pint" as his rhythm...he's still waiting... (I did buy him a nice Panasonic camera instead)

Someone has thrown a drink over the Septic Frog again. S I could’ve sworn I was in the ‘what did you have for dinner’ thread and thought WTF are you on about! I then realised I wasn’t and what you were actually talking about, lol

Starting to look like lying little shittu Rishi may have told porkies too far. As I have observed, I am no longer a Labour voter, bailed due to Blair, no way I was returning to the fold under Broon but IMO we need to get the Tories out of power in Westminster and a) I do not see any alternative to Labour and b) (sorry Martin) but I really do not want to see a lablibdem mishmash.

If you have ever been to Clacton you will know if the knobhead can't be elected there then he REALLY is unelectable He tried here in 2015 where we had a local UKIP council for a while. He came second and within 3,000 votes of winning. With constituency boundary changes, predictions are for a Labour win, but who knows?

Before we set off for RSPB Mersehead last Saturday (about 105 miles) the car battery was at 51%. When we got there it was at 64%. With a 15 mile trip while there, when we got back today it was showing 73%. Not bad for a 5.5 year old battery in a car which has (to use a technical expression) done sod all miles in the last 2.5 years.

I don't understand why all you lefties hate the 'sceptic frog' so much. He is far more effective than you in demolishing Sunak.

Panic stations this morning. Circuit failure ground floor. Tried the reset levers but power lasted only seconds.
RTBC Called the firm I always use for electrical faults and someone arrived very quickly. We eventually remembered the outside power socket! Yes, that was it. Now blanked off as I requested and power back on. Phew!

On the way out this morning I was behind a bunch of lycra clad handbags in a national speed limit area hogging the entire side of the road making it extremely difficult to pass them. Virtually kerb to centre of the road for some of them. Anyway I overtook them in my van, before shortly entering a 20 MPH zone. They clearly wanted to go faster but couldn't because of me, taking up the full width of my side of the road and also passing parked cars. They were grouped up behind me doing bang on 20 and I could see their frustration on their faces in my wing mirrors. If I'd have needed to brake there would have been a mess behind me. Clackwankers!
Ordinarily that would have been a WGYG but because I frustrated them it is a RTBC.
