DRoss's expenses being a factor had occurred to me as well.
As did the ambitions of his various loyal colleagues. Wonder which @r$e they will vote as new Scottish leader?

This could be a WGMG, if it hadn't been such fun introducing a new orifice in 'Sicknote' at work. He's a notorious gossip, as is Graham our relief milker, and one of Julie's colleagues at Morrisons.
"I hear Julie has had another fall"
"No she hasn't"
"Graham (the relief) said she had. It was on Facebook"
"No it wasn't"
"Oh"
I then proceeded to tear him a new one about spreading rumours based on third hand tittle-tattle and explained how Ducky-Poos (she looks like Nanny in Count Duckula) at Morrisons isn't a reliable source for Graham's information especially as her arithmetic is 2+2=5.

Got notification that before 9am tomorrow my first weeks wages will be paid in and they're a bit better than expected. I just went 3 weeks with zero income because this job was a week in hand and I have made it with £2 left in my bank account! I'm very happy about this!

I just went 3 weeks with zero income because this job was a week in hand and I have made it with £2 left in my bank account! I'm very happy about this! Most people find that their first week's/month's take home pay is less than they expected because they often get taxed on a an emergency tax code. |
