I do not know what the definition of "west Midlands" is nor, tbh, do I care but this instinctively I think this, in a small way, is a good thing. www.bbc.co.uk/news

Roll on the GE. The present Tories are rubbish and need a good kicking up the proverbial... Labour will be far worse but our population need to experience the misery to believe it. By 2029, if we are not blown to smithereens in WW3 or have become a caliphate (not really likely by then) we might get back on track.

Think I managed to impress a teenager at the bike shop today. Had a rounded bolt for a clamp round a handlebar, the teenager was stuck and his grandad (the boss) said something about drilling it but we didn't have a drill so I grabbed the big pliers and the big hammer and smashed it off the end of the handlebar.

Or are you playing games?

Just saw Braverman spouting to Keunsberg on TV. Where has she been if she thinks that Sunak and his policies are the cause of the Tory problems. Has she forgotten that they elected leaders who:
1. Effectively caused Brexit 2. Couldn't implement Brexit because of infighting. 3. Was an out-and-out liar 4. Trashed the economy 5. Thinks that sending a few people to Rwanda is the solution.
Doesn't she see that she and her ilk are part of the problem?
The lack of awareness of politicians is breathtaking.

Colchicine! The autumn crocus produces this extract and it's the only thing that's appeared to help deal with my gout... (Though oramorph and two paracetamol made me not care...)

Sadly career minded Ben Bradley did not become East Midlands Mayor. No commas used in that last sentence deliberately.

I simply meant that I could not point to the place on a map but as it is unlikely to affect me in any way this does not bother me.
