I am trying to imagine English league footie without the Africans - yes I know that is different from internationals.
Not just Scotland though or rugby. Remember Zola Budd?

At the football world cup England fielded one player who wasn't English by birth or parentage. That was Raheem Sterling who was born in Jamaica, but moved to the UK aged 10. Remember when Welshman Dewi Morris played scrum-half for England and Englishman Rupert Moon played the same position for Wales. |

It was however a fine match, but having seen Ireland beat Wales, England have a lot to improve.

Found a good cure for my bunged up sinuses and claggy saliva. Brushing my teeth with a 100% baking soda toothpaste.
Just not sure what it does for my guts and amalgam fillings!

Jac the pup has definitely got the eye for sheep. Introduced him to Bonnie's Muscovies today - he was instantly into rounding up without needing telling. Need to get him properly trained now.

My local soccer team came from behind to beat a team much higher in the league. It's starting to look as if we are safe from relegation - and at this point in the season that's a BIG change for us.

Ooooof. After 4 years of investigation the Premier League has handed over a list of over 100 charges of financial wrongdoing by Manchester City to a commission, per their rules. If found guilty (and expect this to drag on for years, potentially), Manchester City face potential penalties including expulsion from the PL. If that happens, and/or their titles are deemed to have been won out of accordance with the rules, and given to the runner up, I'll quite probably actually really piss myself laughing and rolling on the floor.
