If that happens, and/or their titles are deemed to have been won out of accordance with the rules, and given to the runner up, And the chance of that happening is diddly–squat.

I get the impression that City's lawyers have more resources than the PL's, hence this has taken 4 years just to get here. If found guilty (could take a couple of years, easily) allow up to 4 or more years for appeals, CAS, etc., so if anything, it's more likely that they'll just be fined and allowed to carry on as normal.

Squeaky-bum time over. Oven door dismantled, parts cleaned and put back together again. Not perfect result but better than it was.

I'll quite probably actually really piss myself laughing and rolling on the floor. Welcome to my world

I have just sold two Eastman archtop guitars to a music store and got way more than I expected such that I made a profit even despite having had to have truss rod and tail piece replaced on one (an early and very rare Model) and having an acoustic pick up fitted to the same. Timing was lucky, the store is becoming once again an Eastman seller and is expecting a shipment of new models in the next couple of weeks. There is of course a twin guitar case shaped hole in the house but the herd needed thinned and I have other guitars that suit my styles of playing more so they had just been sitting in their cases with strings going foosty. In theory I would have got more using Ebay but load of hassle and would have taken ages. Doubtful if anyone would buy the rare one without trying it.

Popped into the Range (B&M for people with taste) and picked up some nice wooden, box-style photo frames. Two 10"x8"(12"x10" without mount), two 8"x8"(12"x12" without mount), and two 12"x12"(16"x16" without mount), for a total price of £30. Really pleased as square frames at a sensible price are as rare as hen's teeth.

I went to the doctor this afternoon, to have an ingrown tonail sorted. The doctor I saw was GP at the practise I attend, who does the minor surgery. The antibiotic cream my own doctor prescribed on Friday last had sorted the infection, and nothing needed to be done. I was spared a possible $400 fee...

Popped into the Range (B&M for people with taste) I presume that was tongue in cheek?

If you have any esoteric stuff, you could always drop a line to Crimson Guitars, who are setting up a Guitar Museum. They are buying older and some weird and wonderful stuff.

Had to renew my passport - using the standard service, got it back in 10 days, and was kept informed throughout the process.
Now I'm not too happy about a foreign-made black passport, or having to get extra pages because the thing gets stamped everywhere these days, but credit where it's due, that's really good service.

I presume that was tongue in cheek? Maybe TBF though, I bought a load of A4 black frames for our AirBnB from The Range. Certainly not top of the range stuff, but were very cheap and more than adequate for what I needed them for. Luckily I managed to resist the big tacky mirrors and clocks.

Luckily I managed to resist the big tacky mirrors and clocks. Yeah there's plenty of chavvy tat, but there's also a nice selection of simple frames for decent price. Do you not have 'live, love, laugh' on the Airbnb wall?

Thanks Andy. The only other I want to punt at the moment are some Classicals that I made back in the day. The old and rare one was a 2006 Eastman AR904 oval soundholed Archtop. Not that old but old for an Eastman - they only started making guitars in 2003. A very high end guitar but it is thought they may only have made 3 or 4, oval sound holed archtops are very rare because very few people want them. I only bought it because John Renbourn started out playing a UK made one. Great guitar but very loud and proud and I live in a semi. The other was an Eastman El Rey 2 - great instrument but optimised for electric rather than acoustic. Better humbucking sound than my Fly but the Fly does so much more.
