It was lovely to see Paul dancing properly - and he looked very dashing in tails! I felt bad for Sarah. Jamie looked like he was dancing on a lads' Ibiza trip for most of it and the first lift did not go well so I was a tad surprised that he got such good comments. Tasha was incredible. Chris continues to amaze. I reckon Dr Punam will be out this week and Nick next. I agree. I thought that the last lift was pretty inelegant as well.

Disappointed with last night. Other than Tasha and Chris, nothing really stood out as outstanding. The girl off gladiators did well, but the couples choice (freestyle) dances always do look good. I thought the judges were a bit brutal too, especially with the comments made to Sam. Yet again Jamie got marked higher than others of a similar standard. Despite another big improvement I reckon Paul will be booted this week. If he does it becomes a real competition from next week and anyone who has an off day could be eliminated.

Yet again I agree. I was quite bored last night.

Well I'm buggered if I can fathom out how the judges come by their scores. Inconsistent or what? Jamie over scores again, Tasha under scored IMO, Sarah gets top marks despite a glaringly obvious cock up. Loved Pete's dance and Sam Quek...oooer missus! Chris was poor. If he wasn't so popular amongst the voting public he would probably be out. I reckon Dr. Punam is going out and Shayne in the dance off again. I don't think the public are warming to him. At this point I'd say Tasha, Montell, and Jamie in the final, but there's no weak dancers left, so you have a duff week anyone could go home.

Didn't watch it last night - got stuck into reruns of GRACE. Will watch today catch up.

Can't complain about the good doctor being voted off. She improved a lot but was still well behind most of the others.
I mentioned, I think, the recent death of a close friend. I may not have mentioned that he was an accomplished ballroom dancer, and our Sunday/Monday conversations about Strictly were very interesting and informative. I really miss him.

Mick proboards needs more buttons for posts like this. I appreciate the sentiment, but the number of people I would actually *like* losing a friend is low and would be assuming that their friend was a cutter unt as well. Mick, have a hug from me.

Well I didn't anticipate those two in this week's dance-off.

Well I didn't anticipate those two in this week's dance-off. I'm assuming that you have been on twitter? I have deleted my Twitter account in a tiny protest against Musk. It won't bother him at all but I am refusing to be a part of it so I can't see the 'spoiler' account any more. If I had to guess based on last night's performances, I'd have put Pete and Chris in the dance off but I think the voting public will keep Chris going for as long as possible so based on public opinion and that alone, my vote for dance off goes to Pete and Wynne. Or Shane and Wynne. Am I alone in thinking that the Couples Choice thing should be a week that occurs in say week 9 so that everyone has had the same amount of time to gather some skills? They always score well but if you've had longer to perfect a dance that doesn't have to follow all the ballroom rules surely you're obviously going to be better at it than someone who did it in week 4?

I've just realised you don't need twitter to see the Strictly Spoilers. You're right. I'd never have guessed that in a million years. Oh my.

The article is quite vague about the fact that other than Tasha is a contestant on Strictly, this has nothing to do with Strictly, but her time appearing on Love Island.
