Didn't watch it last night (fourth migraine this week that saw me in bed ludicrously early) but will watch on catch up later today before the results show. No results show in week one. No, you're right of course. Well good because I'd have been watching far too late into the night if there had been.

I’m hard pressed to who will go out first but I’m sure one of them will 🤣

Tasha, how beautiful was that Viennese Waltz? Other standouts, Sarah's Paso Double and Montell's Salsa. I am still in awe at Chris McCausland though.

I forgot and turned channels just in time for the last three. It amazes me how the professional dancers risk serious injury and hence their jobs for life by trusting novices to catch them. Dunno who the much-tattooed bloke doing the catching was - he did well.

With the usual caveat that I know I'd be worse than any of the worst dancers on the show, Toyah was still rubbish and so was that bloke who has something to do with football. I'd be hoping Toyah would be the one to go because as a 'singer' you would expect her to have some degree of musicality but she simply doesn't. The other guy was objectively worse than her but you'd expect him to be a bit rough. I think Sarah, Tasha, Montell and Wynne (autocorrect wants that to by Lynne) were fabulous and I hope Sam gets through because I think she will be an 'improver' to watch. I agreed with Craig about Jamie B's rumba - at several points they looked like two people doing their own dances, no connection at all.
ETA: Chris is astonishing!

I’m hoping that the footballer will get the chop coz I like Toyah, I saw her once in panto, she arrived on stage via zip wire.🫣🤭

Toyah = fine actress who has been known to open her gob badly to music IMOOC.

By far the worst dance last night was the swimmist bloke. I totally agree with Kath about Sam Quek. I reckon she's this series grower, along with Wynne. No real shock who was in the dance-off, it was perm any two from three and any one of them deserved to go.

I didn’t see it I got engrossed by Sherwood on iPlayer so had to ask Google who went out even when I looked everywhere couldn’t remember what he was injury bloke. I know it was a ginger haired bloke, so that’s one less to remember to forget about.

The ginger bloke going was a surprise to me but only because I'd completely forgotten about him. Agree with Martin - there were three who couldn't have been surprised at finding themselves in the dance off, and when it came down to it, at least Toyah gave it some oomph. Why don't I like her? I think she might be one of those people who should remain as you remember them, the public face, and not herself. She's annoying as herself. I know. Bit harsh. I'm sure she's a delight and not an attention hog with an ego at all.

I’ve seen her a couple of times live since the 80’s. Seen her in theatre too, in Jubilee. I have a soft spot for her. I don’t watch strictly at all, so can’t comment on her in this.

She's less wooden than the swimmer...but in his sport being wooden could be an advantage...
