I have mentioned before that we have a friend (she's been a life long friend of my wife) who seems to have gone quite mad and fallen down the conspiracy theory rabbit hole around the time of Covid.
She is/was into all of the Covid ones, 5G masts, Chem trails and probably a whole lot more.
My wife went to visit her yesterday and she seems to have found a few more.
Do you know, that there are wars being fought all over the world but are actually being conducted in thousands of miles of underground tunnels, rather than up on the surface? No? She does because she is in the know and has seen "proof" including heat source imaging taken through the earth to see all of these soldiers fighting.
She has now taken an interest in FlightRadar or some such other flight tracker. Did you know, the other day when those kids were killed in Southport, that there were 3 planes circling above Southport at and before the time of the killing? These plans were responsible for releasing a chemical into the air that targeted certain vulnerable people and caused the young guy to go and commit mass murder. Of course you didn't know, because you are not in the know.
"They" (some nefarious organisation) are pumping arsine gas into the air, hence why it is more cloudy nowadays. Nothing to do with climate change, but these gasses. Luckily we have the RAF who are flying secret missions to spray something in the skies to counteract this arsine. You didn't know that did you?
She pleaded with my wife not to go out when it firsts starts to rain as she will be poisoned.
She is anti everything, worried about being spied on etc.
For all intents and purposes she comes across as normal, until she starts sprouting this shit. She doesn't say much to me, probably because I'll tell her to shut up.
I was helping her with her internet a few weeks ago and she started in a paranoid way about her contract and what ChatGPT has said about it. I got quite cross with her, told her I wasn't interested and did she want me to set it up or not, as I wasn't discussing paranoid crap with her. She shut up!

We have a similar friend. He's delightful until he gets onto one of his theories. I've mentioned him before.
He got a postal vote because he didn't want to show ID because 'they' might be controlling him. He believes nothing that the BBC says but believes every syllable of some weird website that he says publishes the 'real' news - and so on.

This person refuses to see any doctor and she suffers a multitude of ailments. She sees alternative therapists, gets assessed on a vaga machine or something. We refer to it was the vagina machine, lol. The quack told her she will never get cancer following some assessment. She believes it. My daughter is suffering from chronic fatigue (could be fibromyalgia or quite possibly ME) and she suggested she went to see one of her recommended quacks to check for deficiencies. My daughter has had every blood test going. They won't tell you everything apparently, but her quack would. She wouldn't need a blood test, just has to hold some metal things in her hands and that would read her body. FFS woman!

It#s hard to be a skeptic these days without being labelled a conspiracy theorist. I take it, Nige, that the medics haven't come up with anything definite re your daughter? So some look for alternative reasons for the condition and how she is feeling. Looking for answers can mean going over different scenarios which might have brought it on? It's what I would do if looking for answers - and perhaps a cure. I bet your daughter and you have wondered what brought it on.
Anyway, as I said, it's hard to be a skeptic these days. Most are just happy to go with the flow and question nothing. It's a bit like a murder mystery. In most scenarios, be they economic or medical or family or even Governmental, I do wonder. Who is benefitting?

This “chem trails” thing fascinates me, after 45 years of maintaining aircraft it would be reasonable to assume that I have some knowledge of how they are constructed. If there were tanks for chemicals I would be very likely to know. I would have seen said chemicals loaded and any nozzles for distributing them. I probably don’t need to tell you that I have never seen any such thing. If there were space for chemical tanks airlines would want them replaced/filled with either revenue cargo space or fuel tanks. Of course there’s a grain of truth, the trail behind an aircraft is a chemical, everything is made up of atoms, atoms make chemicals. The “chemical” in question is water vapour. It’s so dangerous that the people spouting this rubbish are themselves 60+% water (as is everyone else). Are these the same people who think the earth is flat?

My wife likes to watch Blaze, channel 64 on Freeview. There’s a load of stuff about how there are aliens amongst us, and how they had a hand in building things like Stonehenge and the pyramids. There is also a lot airtime given to UFOs and similar.
It seems exactly the sort of thing that Nige’s friend would lap up, assuming she hasn’t already found that channel.

Mrs S's brother is a fan of Blaze. I watch it too but only for about 10 minutes at most. Don't forget they have Dickinson's real deal, Pawn Stars and Storage wars as well...

My wife just reminded me of another one she mentioned yesterday. They are making lightning around the worldnwhich is increasing radiation levels. She apparently knows 3 people who are losing their hair because of this.
