Not very far Down the Road.
Both taken just outside our front garden.
Hope they were cleared away quickly! Unfortunately not. The perfectly adequate pavement in the crayon shot was entirely ripped up and replaced in a five week project that took more than two months to complete. Yes some of the old pavers were broken and some of the tarmacked areas were sunk but really we think it served a use up end of year cash purpose rather than been necessary.
Most of the work was done by one man which included replacing all the kerb stones which in my mind is a two person job due to lifting heavy weight and general need to have another body on site in case of injury. I would have rejected a risk assessment / method statement based on those practices alone.
