I was in the cemetery this morning putting flowers on H's grave. This is a photo of the only entry/exit point. Unfortunately only one way for some. Alderley cemetery by Nigel G, on Flickr

I still can't go to my future resting place voluntarily. Hug from me.

Can't believe it was 9 years ago on the 14th of this month.

Not very far Down the Road.
Both taken just outside our front garden.

If "Down the road" means doorstep local then I have nothing and there is nothing worthy of a picture. This (according to Google Earth) is 5.5 km in a straight line, down the road, although this photo was taken with the foreground in mind and the nearest part is pedestrianised. I think the road goes underneath by means of tunnel. I can't think of another example at this instant. Down the road, from the steps of one Arch to another. Somewhat local - this is looking down Eastgate Street to the East gate and into Foregate street. I suppose it would have done for yesterday's entrance/exit had I thought of it. It is still formally a road and not pedestrianised, although mainly for access to hotels, the cathedral and some few shops. I haven't worked out how the rising bollards are operated but clearly folk do manage to get through, not seen anyone stuck yet. 274A0258.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

Both taken just outside our front garden.
Hope they were cleared away quickly!
