Sarah and I were only saying the other day that we ought to visit Lincoln. Is it worth the trip?

To be honest I never expected to find anything by putting "pavement" as a search term into Lightroom. I was actually wondering how widely to interpret pavement - in the US a pavement is a sidewalk and the pavement is a tarmac road surface - so pavement could be any surfaced road or footway - I think the term "sealed" as distinct from "unsealed" also applies in the Southern Hemisphere. Anyway, after that digression, this probably, technically speaking, is an outcrop rather than, as labelled in my LR, a limestone pavement. It is on the Great Orme. I haven' t been in proper limestone pavement country for years and years. DSCF0263.jpg by Pete, on Flickr
