Why do people fight shy of saying they a socialist? If you think about it, we are a society of sorts. Many of us have similar aims. A good place to live, safe, comfortable in our homes and jobs if we have one. Positive about circumstances if we get ill or just old. Good education for our youngsters. Not burdening them with debt. Not bankrupting older folk to pay for care. Good public transport. Housing to suit all needs. So why is it a dirty word this socialism? A word to be avoided, it seems, by politicians in our democratic nation? Is it because it reduces capitalism? Is it because we would have to pay real taxes (all of us) to enjoy a fair society for all? Is that so scary? Could it be because of the National Socialist German Workers Party?

Ah yes, just as crab apples are crustaceans and Labour represent the working classes. Amazing what false labelling can do.

No. I think it is because it scares the sh*t out of the high earners wheeler-dealers that they might just lose their cash cows - the workers.

Good news for Labour! The electorate are all-in for their values and manifesto! [Checks notes].... Uh-oh Don't forget the only reason the Tories won the last election was because they(the electorate) loved Boris and weren't at all pissed at the impasse over Brexit...

Micheal Gove: "Rishi and Boris are like Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham..." The British public: "You mean they're pretty shit for England at the moment? " No, he meant don't expect to see them for a few days, and when you do, they'll be in tracksuits thinking about where they'll go on holiday when they lose.

Rishi Sunak "I have two young daughters, you can trust me".
Fred West, Josef Fritzl, Ted Bundy, Heinrich Himmler amongst other charming, trustworthy people all had daughters.

I'm still very tempted by 'none of the above' but really don't know if I can be bothered!
