Admittedly, this wasn't exactly a lone tree. PS wizardry has made it a bit more so! Urban tree edit by Nigel G, on Flickr

I found this one from 2016 and completely reprocessed it. Keywords just say "dartmoor, lone tree" so not terribly helpful in locating where it is. I had got it darker and very, very saturated but I think this is more natural. I can't decide what the sky was doing. It was late October and 17:40 if the clock can be believed so very low afternoon sun and possibly rain threatening. At 100% view I see there are 5 birds in the tree. Probably meadow pipits or skylarks as those are the most common. Impossible to tell. DSCF1199.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

Has anyone got anywhere doing a list for May? I did one on paper but for some reason misunderstood kate who had a theme for the month as having the month's themes so put it on the back burner possibly for June. I am out on site today but it no one else has anything and can wait until I am back this evening, I will put it in an exhibition thread.

I had been mulling over the daily challenges, but was getting nowhere fast. I would be grateful if you can post something that this befuddled aged person can get inspiration from. Thank you.

I have posted and reported myself in the Exhibition room. As said before my themes for May were lifted from previous themes elsewhere, not a lot of creative effort on my part.
