I hadn't realised today was "row". Some of the "lines" I was looking for on Thursday were actually rows ^^ Same thoughts as mine.

I'd decided on these rows of apple trees when another photographer popped out the other end. He saw me taking the picture and disappeared again but I'd already pushed the button. DSCF7522.jpg by Pete, on Flickr That would be an easy clone out or even just a hue change to make the red jacket less of an eye draw but having it there is fine. (In my opinion)

(In my opinion) I did take another shot with him gone but I hadn't put it on Flickr. I think my wife keeps garden shots featuring red coats spoiling the view, personally I think neutral colours should be obligatory. I posted this in fun.

Shelf shelf 2 by Kate Ferris, on Flickr This made me realise how few shelves I have around this place. Could do with a few more.

I don't know if it was peculiar to East Yorkshire but we had a phrase 'on the dog shelf' meaning on the floor. A dog on the dog shelf. Rolo IMG_8270edit by Keith Hudson, on Flickr

I could post a selfie - since I'm now 'on the shelf' but I'll spare you that pleasure.

I couldn't imagine any circumstances, past, present or future, where I would photograph a shelf but idly paging through my AP forum album on Flickr I found this. Not sure if was ever posted. 274A4250.jpg by Pete, on Flickr The fairground museum (Dingles) was in dire straits last time I heard. The covid shutdown killed it of income and their lease ran out. Edit: they will move to Tamworth to another (narrow gauge railway) museum at the end of 2024. www.dinglesfhc.co.uk/dingles-closure/

What a waste of an hour. Lightroom said the photo didn't exist anymore and it wasn't on disk so I got it from a 10 year old back-up disk only to find that I'd first added it to Lightroom from the disk I use for scanned film images which wasn't plugged in. Gosh what a lot of messing about - motto don't do stuff before breakfast. Inside a hotel (forget the name) From 2009. From balcony IMG_0034-Enhanced-NR.jpg by Pete, on Flickr and a version I posted for a theme last year, which is why I couldn't understand the vanishing photo.
