No brolly shots but years and years ago I was given a novel design of umbrella as a thank you for helping in a workshop (in Rotterdam). I don't know if this link works but the umbrella is now marketed as a "Storm" umbrella. It can take any amount of wind, although when the rain is horizontal, this facility isn't as useful as you might think, the main purpose of an umbrella being to keep you dry.
It was I think originally a University Project. The guy holding it in the wind tunnel as the speed is wound up to 133 km/hr did well to stay standing.
