I promised so I'm now delivering my verdict.
I said earlier this was difficult and I meant it. There might not have been pages of entries, but what there is/was, gave me glimpses of what you saw and I'm grateful.
Ones that caught my eye were
Petterob's Short eared owl which was a real find in all that camouflage;
Keith's The other platform (which left me wondering if it was actually a window or a mirror - an ever changing glimpse of another place, and his Lizard - a real glimpse and fleeting too;
I loved Zou's Phone box. I guess a bit of a 'me too' shot but a sneaky glimpse into that place that most everyone else would just walk past and never notice;
Jack's Naught cheeky shots had me smiling and remembering that early poster of the tennis young lady which was way before most of your time;
Nige came through, as always, with his wonderful Life on the Ganges (had me laughing aloud), his Man in the doorway and his Through the fog shots;
Dans's shot of the murmuration was a glimpse into their mysterious behaviour - something I hoped to see with my starlings at my old home, where I had definitely going on for a hundred - but not enough when they flew together to be a murmuration.
Kath's Cardross station is a gorgeous mysterious view and very much to my taste - BUT
there has to be a winner,
Contrary to what you might think, I keep getting drawn back to Nige's Man in the Doorway, which had me looking at it large and realising that what was in the shot was not only that we glimpse the man, but he glimpsed you too.
So sorry
dreampolice (Nige) pick up the baton and run.
