So do I! Somewhere I had something labelled "Leica", thought that would be the closest I ever got to owning a Leica... I have a Contax take-up spool (in a Voigtlander Vito II), thought that would be the closest I ever got to owning a Contax... I have a Rolleiflex filter pouch for a strap, thought.... I'm beginning to see a theme! Lol I thought I was the only mad beggar who did that, I bought a Leica coloured lens filter so I ‘owned‘ a Leica item. Still got it somewhere in amongst the detritus of camera life I, too have a single Leica item. It's a film takeup spool, currently residing in a Zenit S. |

Remind me what lens you use with that, is it a Jupiter/etc. or did you get a Leica one? I have a screwmount Jupiter.... thingy, can't remember the number but its a 50mm. 8, maybe? I also have a pinhole for it, in which guise it answers to the FrankenLeichole. |

I've tried it, and it works - though at 1/10 of a second the shutter sounds disconcertingly like a chicken. You mean that when you press the shutter release, instead of a click you get a cluck?? If you open the back to remove the film, is there an egg in there too? |
