Still struggling with this 1/4 web + new leaf - taken today. DSCF6888.jpg by Pete, on Flickr This is simply lovely. The way the geometry of the web contrasts with the out of focus areas is certainly - in my view - a valid interpretation of the theme. Thank you. I was beginning to think that only arrangements of man made objects counted. I just noticed that there is an awful Moiré pattern in the background. I've never seen this before and will try to reprocess it tomorrow. Edit (22:36) the patterns in the blue background are a resize and jpg compression artefact. There is no sign of them at all in Lightroom version of the file. Very strange. The save settings are highest quality after resize. Why a grid pattern should emerge I don't know. On the computer monitor the artefact is much less visible than on the ipad. Very strange - I've never seen this before. Edit (22:40) This is after putting it through AI denoise (including enhance details) and the same resize and compression. The funny grid like patterns are gone. The file versions seem indistinguishable in Lightroom even at 100% view. DSCF6888-Enhanced-NR.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

Although I was after the dabchick I was thinking that the arrangement of reeds and their reflections meant something. This is a [small] crop with the reeds in mind. DSCF6914.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

These were taken yesterday at Arlesford Creek. This structure has fallen down even more since I last visited but looks much better now arlesford creek by Dan, on Flickr

I'm guessing this might have been some packing shed. It is next to the remnemts of a railway bridge that connected Brightlingsea to Arlesford. I have photographed this so many times. untitled (1 of 1)-5 by Dan, on Flickr
